Job Description: Top Duties and Qualifications

​

An A.J. SOSEBY Associate, is responsible for engaging with customers and maintaining a one-of-a-kind retail experience. Their duties include greeting customers and providing them with recommendations on products, unpacking product orders while maintaining accurate inventory records and performing routine cleaning procedures before and after business hours. We look for passionate associates who are interested in design. This role will work in our Design Office in Olde Towne East and our Shop locations in both Clintonville & Olde Towne East.

 

A.J. SOSEBY Associate duties and responsibilities:

Associate completes tasks that support the Owners and overall customer base. This position reports into the Owner of A.J. SOSEBY.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet customers as you would your best friend

  • Become a Product expert across our categories including: Kitchen, Pantry, Brushes 

  • Become a gift expert. A.J. SOSEBY is known for gifting. You will need to help customers build the perfect gift options.

  • Restock shelves when they become empty 

  • Find and retrieve store merchandise

  • Perform routine inventory counts & update in systems as needed

  • Carry out social media & ECOMM tasks as needed

  • Manage the A.J. SOSEBY Instagram shop

  • Clean the shops & ensure products are properly displayed before the shops opens

  • Tasks at the A.J. SOSEBY Home Office & Warehouse as needed

 

Must be able to work Friday-Sunday 11-5
