about CHRISTOPHE POURNY
Founded by master restorer Christophe Pourny, our Brooklyn-based studio brings generations of expertise to the art of furniture restoration. Born in the South of France and trained in Paris, Christophe moved to New York over 25 years ago, where he established a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and refined finishes—such as French polish, ceruse, and straw marquetry.
Today, our studio serves leading interior designers, historic institutions like City Hall and Gracie Mansion, and private collectors. In 2010, Christophe partnered with Jason Jobson, who brought decades of luxury brand experience. Together, they launched an all-natural line of furniture care products now sold in over 300 stores across the U.S., Canada, and Japan.
Featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Martha Stewart Living, and The New York Times, our work is trusted by tastemakers and restoration enthusiasts alike. In 2016, Christophe authored The Furniture Bible—a modern classic on antique care and restoration.
